Anita Hill
Anita is one of the founding members, and a current committee member, here at PNUA. She’s highly experienced, having started umpiring when she was just 12 years old. She’s come a long way since those days- where she actually failed her first umpiring exam. Being a defender she had first hand experience of what non-consistent and poor-positioned umpiring looked like.
She received her B badge back in 1997, and now uses her knowledge and experience to mentor younger umpires to achieve their goals, and you can bet that she makes them sprint to get to that base line in time. Still receiving mentoring herself, she is a true believer that we are only as good as our last game, and does this all for the betterment of the sport she loves.
