Shelly Haynes

Shelly is a B badge umpire who begun her umpiring career in 2002. Shelly started this journey by filling in for umpires down at FDNA whilst she was the business manager there, and discovered that she actually really enjoyed it. 

Following the FDNA umpire pathways, she gained her B badge after training under Gail Cooper who she learnt so much from. 

Back from a stint in the NT where she continued to umpire in the Darwin Netball Association, she now has a new found respect for Melbourne’s weather, vowing to never complain about the heat or humidity again!
