FEE SCHEDULE

Peninsula Netball Umpire Association is not-for-profit organisation.
All fee’s accumulated go directly towards the payment of our umpires and mentors.

There is a fee of $150 to be paid by every club at the beginning on the season. This is to ensure their place within our association, and to utilise our service to cover their A & B grade games. This will also allow us to provide an honorary payment to our roster.

 

Because we support all teams across the MPFNL which can range anywhere from Sorrento to Aspendale, through to Crib Point and Deavon Meadows we have introduced a travel fee to compensate our umpires for petrol if they are required to travel far distances. The travel fees are measured from a central location, and are added accordingly. Fee’s for clubs will be $165 for the year, paid at the start of the season to PNUA to distribute to our umpires as required. The travel fee’s are as follows:

GAME PAYMENTS

These payments are made directly to the umpire at the beginning or conclusion of their allocated games. Each club is responsible for making this payment to their allocated umpire. If electronic payments are to be made, please do them by Monday afternoon.

These match payments are still below what other leagues are paying their umpires, and are necessary to ensure that we maintain the number and level of quality umpires we have.

PRACTICE MATCH PAYMENTS

Practice Match Payments – Per hour and pro-rata thereafter plus travel as per schedule.

For all practice matches, there is a match payment of $50 per umpire, per hour game and Travel as per schedule prorata thereafter plus;

This is to be paid directly to the umpire at the start, or end of the game on the day of the match.

 

UMPIRE BADGE TESTING

We are happy to provide independent testing for umpires from other associations. 
The fee’s for this service are as follows.

FOR B BADGE TESTING

  • $100 for x2 testers
  • $30 badge fee
  • $25 admin fee

FOR C BADGE TESTING

  • $80 for x2 testers
  • $30 badge fee
  • $25 admin fee

*we also provide screening prior to testing for a $40 fee if required

**Travel payment may be necessary if the distance traveled is over 20KM from YCW at 66 cents per       Kilometer.

UMPIRE COACHING

We have a standard charge out rate of $50 per hour* if you would like us to contact our PNUA community to arrange for umpire coaches to assist in developing and training the umpires within your association or club.
